Checklist for your first account

A step-by-step guide to ensure your company's first account on Centriu is set up correctly and securely, without missing any important detail.

Use this checklist to ensure your company's first account on Centriu is set up correctly and securely, without missing any important step.

Block 1 – Access and identity

  • Account created with a corporate email (not personal).
  • Company name and logo configured.
  • Time zone, currency, and language verified.
  • Account “owner” defined (who will be the main person responsible).

Governance tip

Don't let the account depend on a single person. Always have at least two administrators.

Block 2 – Basic security

  • Two-factor authentication enabled (if available).
  • Password policies defined (minimum characters, periodic renewal).
  • Initial access limited only to people involved in the rollout.
  • Password recovery emails and security contact reviewed.

Block 3 – Domains, teams, and areas

  • Company's main domain configured (e.g., @yourcompany.com).
  • Team structure mapped:
    • CX / Support
    • Growth / Marketing
    • Sales / Commercial
    • Operations / Product
  • First teams created within Centriu (when the product allows grouping by area/squad).
  • Owners for each area identified.

Block 4 – Minimum data to get started

  • Revenue sources defined (CRM, spreadsheets, ERP, or financial system).
  • CX / support sources defined (help desk, chat, telephony, etc.).
  • Essential metrics that must appear in the first dashboards defined:
    • New customers / cancellations
    • Volume of tickets / requests
    • NPS / CSAT
    • Support SLA
  • Optional (recommended): A simple document created mapping where each piece of data currently lives.

Block 5 – Permissions and roles

  • Profiles created:
    • Admin (settings and security)
    • Managers (access to dashboards and team settings)
    • Operators (access to day-to-day data and screens)
  • Reviewed what each role can do: create/edit integrations; edit dashboards; manage users.
  • Access to critical settings blocked for operational profiles.

Block 6 – Data governance and privacy

  • Internal policy defined: which data can or cannot be imported into Centriu.
  • Assessed whether sensitive data exists (e.g., health, financial data, personal documents) and whether anonymization is needed.
  • Recorded the person responsible for handling LGPD-related requests.
  • Defined how long data will be stored and how it will be removed if necessary.

Block 7 – “Ready to use” checklist

Before granting access to more people, check:

  • All admins can log in normally.
  • Test dashboards display real data.
  • Access logs or history (if any) are working.
  • An internal support channel already exists (e.g., a Slack/Teams channel called “Centriu – questions”).

If most items are checked, you're ready to:

  • invite the team;
  • set up reading rituals;
  • evolve to more advanced integrations.
