O problema

  • Conversas perdidas

    O cliente repete o contexto a cada canal e a cada pessoa.

  • Tarefas espalhadas

A resposta

As áreas trabalham separadas e o cliente sente.

A operação depende de pessoas específicas.

O financeiro ficou complexo e o caixa perde visibilidade.

A Centriu combina tecnologia, inteligência, método e acompanhamento.

Growth-Experiment Backlog Source-of-Truth Automation: The Table With Zero Rows That Wasn't a Bug

A dedicated `experiments` table exists in Centriu Vesper's database. It holds zero rows across the entire database, in every organization that uses the product. This is not a sign the growth-experiment feature is broken or unused. It is a documented fact. The real backlog of growth experiments lives inside a single JSON array. This array is in a different table (`module_artifacts`, under the module type `experiments`). There is one array per client's active strategy project. A new suite of AI-agent tools was built to manage that backlog. It reads and writes that array directly. It never uses the empty table a schema-first search would find first. It enforces the same rules the product's interface relies on: no experiment without a written, testable hypothesis of at least fifteen characters; an effort level normalized to a fixed three-value scale, whether typed in Portuguese or English; a status confined to four values (backlog, running, completed, discarded); and no experiment ever deleted, only marked discarded, with the reason kept as part of its record.

Growth-Experiment Backlog Source-of-Truth Automation: The Table With Zero Rows That Wasn't a Bug

A schema can describe two different structures for the same idea, and only one of them is actually in use

A relational database table named `experiments` seems like an obvious answer to "where do growth experiments live". This is true until someone queries it and finds nothing at all, on any client, ever. Whether that means the feature has no data yet or the real data lives somewhere else is unclear from the empty result alone. Only reading the system's internal documentation or the code that writes experiment data reveals which one it is.

How the new agent tools were built to find the real data, not the empty decoy

The migration's header comment states the fact clearly. The tool-building work needed to respect this fact rather than rediscover it by trial and error. The `experiments` table is a facade. It has zero rows in the entire database. The real backlog lives in the JSON module. Every read and write tool built for this system targets that JSON array directly. Listing experiments reads the array and can filter by status. Creating one appends a new entry to the array in a single update. This is done with a freshly generated identifier. This avoids a read-modify-write race with a concurrent call. Updating one finds the matching entry by that identifier inside the array. It merges in only the fields that changed, leaving everything else untouched.

Three guardrails travel with every write. First, a hypothesis has to be written out. It has to reach a minimum length of fifteen characters. This is not a guarantee of quality, but enough to reject an empty or single-word placeholder. Second, an effort estimate is normalized. Whether entered as "baixo," "médio," "alto," or their English equivalents, it is mapped to one of three values. Anything that doesn't match is rejected outright. Third, an experiment's status is confined to four fixed values. There is no operation in the tool suite that deletes an experiment. Reaching the end of its useful life is marked by marking it `discarded`. The reasoning behind that call is captured in the same update. A discarded idea remains part of the project's history rather than disappearing.

What is actually built today

  • A read tool that lists a client's growth-experiment backlog directly from the JSON module that holds it. It can be filtered by status and never touches the empty dedicated table.

  • A creation tool that appends a new experiment to that same array in one update. It requires a written hypothesis of at least fifteen characters and an effort estimate normalized to one of three fixed values.

  • An update tool that finds an experiment by its identifier inside the array. It merges in only the changed fields — status, results, or both — without disturbing the rest of the entry.

  • No delete operation anywhere in the suite. An experiment that didn't work is marked `discarded`. Its reasoning is recorded and never removed from the record.

  • A separate panorama tool shows, per client project, how many modules are filled in, how many insights are pending, and how many tasks are open. This is a single-glance view before acting on any one of them.

  • Every create and update call writes its own audit-log entry. It names the acting agent and is confirmed to remain part of the current source.

What changes operationally

An AI agent can now read and manage a client's real growth-experiment backlog. It uses a dedicated tool suite that targets where the data lives. It enforces the same hypothesis, effort-scale, and no-deletion rules the product's interface relies on. This closes the gap between what a schema-first search would assume and what the system actually does.

Looking in the wrong table first (illustrative scenario, not a real client)

Someone investigating why a client's growth experiments seem to be missing runs a direct query against the `experiments` table. They get back nothing for that client and for every other client in the database. Read alone, that looks like proof the feature has never been used. The actual backlog, with many hypotheses for an active project, sits one table over. It is inside a JSON array the query never touched.

How to start

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the `experiments` table have zero rows if the feature is actually used?

The real backlog of growth experiments is stored as a JSON array inside a different table (`module_artifacts`, under the module type `experiments`). It is not inside the dedicated `experiments` table. This is a documented fact, not a defect.

Can an experiment be created without a hypothesis?

No. The creation tool requires a written hypothesis of at least fifteen characters. It rejects anything shorter or blank.

Can an experiment be deleted?

No. There is no delete operation in the tool suite. An experiment that doesn't work is marked `discarded`. The reasoning is kept as part of its record.

What happens if the effort level is entered in Portuguese?

It is normalized to one of three fixed values, regardless of the input language. Any value that doesn't match is rejected outright.

Does this tool suite change how a client's other strategy frameworks work?

No. It is scoped specifically to the experiments module. Every other framework is managed by its own separate tools.

What does Centriu Vesper cost?

It is sold with tiered levels (Starter/Pro/Max). Exact current values are on the central pricing page.
