O problema

  • Conversas perdidas

    O cliente repete o contexto a cada canal e a cada pessoa.

  • Tarefas espalhadas

A resposta

As áreas trabalham separadas e o cliente sente.

A operação depende de pessoas específicas.

O financeiro ficou complexo e o caixa perde visibilidade.

O atendimento cresce em volume e em canais.

A IA entra sem contexto, controle ou histórico.

Se a empresa ainda não começou a crescer, a Centriu também ajuda a preparar a estrutura para o primeiro salto.

Loyalty Program Fraud Monitoring Automation: Rate Limits, Conservative Anomaly Signals, and a Trail Behind Every Adjustment

A loyalty balance is money. Two people can drain it the most. One is a stranger trying to open a balance session. They do not have the customer's personal-link credential. The other is a staff member quietly adjusting balances at the counter. Centriu Loop treats both as real. Opening a balance session is rate-limited per IP address at the database level. This means automated attempts are slowed down. This happens whether an attempt works or not. Every counter operation has a limit per user per minute. A careful set of anomaly rules reads the audit log. It raises a signal at certain amounts. Sensitive operations made in the Loop screens are written to an audit trail. This includes the user, the IP address in the request, and the user agent. It also shows before and after values for redemptions, adjustments, and settings changes.

Loyalty Program Fraud Monitoring Automation: Rate Limits, Conservative Anomaly Signals, and a Trail Behind Every Adjustment

Why a cashback balance needs more protection than a punch card ever did

A paper punch card can be forged. But the loss is limited. It depends on how many cards a forger can physically hand over. A digital cashback balance is different. It is money in currency. It can be reached from anywhere. Anyone at the counter with the right permission can adjust it. This creates two real threats at the same time. They come from opposite directions. From outside, someone tries to open a balance session. They do not have the customer's personal-link credential. This is a 192-bit secret, not an easy-to-guess ID. This must be rate-limited. This makes an automated attempt still have a real cost. This is true even if guessing the credential itself is not possible. From inside, a staff member with adjustment rights can move balances. They can do this in small amounts. No single transaction would flag these. A loyalty program that only thinks about the first threat has left the more expensive one unwatched.

How Centriu Loop actually limits, watches and records

Opening a balance session is limited per IP address. This is done at the database level. Too many denied attempts in a short time will block that address. Too many attempts of any kind in a longer time will also block it. The address is blocked from opening more sessions until the time passes. The exact way this limiter works is covered on a separate page. It must work even with many requests at the same time, not just one after another. Counter operations have their own limits per user per minute. These are 5 manual balance adjustments, 30 cashback credits, and 30 redemptions. Separately, a set of careful rules reads the audit log. It raises signals at certain amounts. Fifty or more manual adjustments in seven days is critical. Twenty or more is an attention point. Ten or more manual adjustments in one hour is its own critical signal. Every sensitive operation made through the Loop screens is written to the audit trail. This includes a credit, a redemption, an adjustment, a settings change, a data export, and even a denied permission attempt. It records the user, the IP address in the request, and the user agent. Redemptions, adjustments, and settings changes also keep the before and after values. Writes made by the Axis CRM agent's tools do not create audit rows. Redemption itself uses a database operation. It has a guard for insufficient balance. This means a balance cannot go negative from a race.

What is actually built today

  • A limit on opening a balance session per IP address. This is enforced at the database level. It works even with many attempts at the same time or one after another.

  • Limits per user, per minute on counter operations. These are 5 manual balance adjustments, 30 cashback credits, and 30 redemptions.

  • Careful anomaly rules with set limits. These are figured out from the audit log. They include the number of consumer access links issued over 24 hours. They also include manual adjustment volume over 7 days. And an adjustment burst in the last 60 minutes. Each is marked as an attention point or a critical alert.

  • An audit trail of sensitive operations made through the Loop screens. This includes the user, the IP address in the request, and the user agent. It also includes denied permission attempts and data exports. It shows before and after values for redemptions, adjustments, and settings changes.

  • A security view that shows the number of active controls. It also shows attention points and critical alerts. It reads each indicator separately. So, if one query fails, it shows a clear error. It does not break the whole page.

  • Three separate permission keys: write, adjust, and configure. These are checked on the server in the Loop screens. So, crediting cashback and adjusting a balance are not the same right. The Axis CRM agent's tools can credit, redeem, reverse, and change program settings without these keys.

  • A switch per organization that turns off manual balance adjustment in the Loop screens. And an operational kill switch. Setting the program to inactive stops write operations made through those screens. The Axis CRM agent's tools do not check this.

  • Queries are limited per organization on the server. There are also row-level policies per organization on the tables. This is a second layer of protection. So, one company's balances and audit records are not shown to another.

  • An atomic, idempotent redemption operation. It has a guard for insufficient balance. This means a balance cannot go negative.

What changes operationally

The main change is that a loyalty balance is no longer unwatched money. Abuse from outside now has a real cost. It is not free anymore. Unusual internal activity is named against a set limit. It does not depend on someone noticing. Every sensitive operation made in the Loop screens leaves a record. It shows who did it. It includes the value before and after for redemptions, adjustments, and settings changes. No one has to rebuild this information. Centriu does not give a number for what this prevents. The value depends on a business's transaction volume, staff count, and balance sizes.

A retailer notices an adjustment pattern (illustrative scenario, not a real client)

A shop owner opens the protection view. They see the status reading "attention" instead of "healthy." There is one signal: twenty-three manual balance adjustments in the last seven days. This is above the twenty-adjustment attention limit. It is well below the fifty-adjustment critical limit. So, nothing was blocked. No alarm went off. The system simply named a number. This number is higher than what a healthy counter operation usually produces.

The advice with the signal is not "someone is stealing." It is to look in the history for a pattern. For example, the same user, the same reason. Checking the audit trail shows most adjustments came from one register. All had the same reason. All happened in the first hour of a shift. The cause turns out to be a training gap. A new staff member was crediting purchases at the wrong value. Then they corrected them by hand, one at a time.

The fix is a five-minute talk, not an investigation. But the same view, with the same limit, would have shown a truly bad pattern. It would have done this in the same way. If it had, the owner could have turned off manual adjustment for the organization. They could have done this from the settings. Or they could have set the program to inactive. This would stop write operations from the Loop screens while the problem was fixed. The audit trail would already show who made each adjustment. It would also show what the balance was before.

How to get started

Frequently asked questions

Is opening a balance session rate-limited, and does it hold up under simultaneous attempts?

Yes to both. The limit is enforced at the database level per IP address. It is done atomically. This means it cannot be bypassed by many requests at the same time. The full details of how this works are on a separate page.

What volume of manual adjustments triggers a signal?

Twenty or more in seven days raises an attention point. Fifty or more in seven days is critical. Ten or more in one hour is its own critical signal. There is also a hard limit of five adjustments per user per minute.

What exactly is recorded in the audit trail?

Sensitive operations made through the Loop screens are recorded. These include credits, redemptions, adjustments, settings changes, data exports, and denied permission attempts. It records the user, the IP address in the request, and the user agent. Redemptions, adjustments, and settings changes also keep the before and after values. Writes made by the Axis CRM agent's tools do not create audit rows.

Can crediting cashback and adjusting a balance be given to different people?

In the Loop screens, yes. Write, adjust, and configure are three separate permission keys. They are checked on the server. Manual adjustment can also be turned off there for the organization. However, the Axis CRM agent's tools credit, redeem, reverse, and configure the program without checking these keys.

Is there a way to stop everything if something looks wrong?

Partly. Setting the program to inactive in the settings blocks write operations made through the Loop screens. This happens while the situation is investigated. But the Axis CRM agent's tools do not check that switch.

Does the anomaly detection use AI?

No. The detection uses a small set of careful numeric rules. These rules are based on the audit log. They are designed to miss a subtle case rather than raise a false alarm. Loop has no AI of its own. However, the Axis CRM agent can credit, redeem, and reverse cashback through its tools.

What does Centriu Loop cost?

It is sold by subscription with published plans. The exact current values are on the central pricing page.
