An AI answering for your company needs to know where the answer came from.
Synapse connects models, your authorised knowledge base and your operation’s rules — and records what was consulted, what was answered and how much it cost. When a topic passes the limit, the conversation goes to a person.

The problem
The risk is not the AI being wrong. It is being wrong with your brand on it.
Putting an agent out there to speak for the company is easy. The hard part is making sure it knows what it is talking about, knows where to stop and leaves a trail of what it said.
The agent answers anything, in the company’s name
Without an authorised base and without limits, it invents a returns policy, promises a deadline that does not exist and opines on topics that are not its own. The mistake reaches the client with your identity on it — and the company answers for it, not the model.
Nobody knows what was said or what it cost
Instructions in a spreadsheet, a key in a config file, conversations that vanish. When someone asks what the agent replied last week, there is nowhere to look — nor how much it consumed.
Every change becomes a developer’s task
Changing a line, connecting a new document or publishing on another channel depends on development. The operation stops evolving at the pace of the people serving clients and starts moving at the pace of the technical queue.
What changes
From improvisation to an answer that holds up
The path Synapse organises — and the point where it hands the conversation back to people.
“Connected knowledge reduces improvisation, but it does not remove the need for control.”
- The agent’s purpose is written before any conversation.
- The model is chosen per agent, using the company’s own key.
- Authorised documents go into the knowledge base.
- The agent’s instructions and limits are recorded.
- The lookup fetches the relevant passage and identifies the source.
- Source content is isolated from what counts as instruction.
- The answer is checked before it leaves for the channel.
- If the topic passes the limit, the conversation goes to a person.
- Model, cost and conversation are recorded.
- The base is updated without needing a new release of code.
Features
What exists today, inside the product
Every item below is in operation. What is common on other platforms but does not exist here does not appear on this page.
Agents with a purpose and a limit
Each agent has its own instructions, context and scope of what it may or may not handle. No single giant prompt serving everything.
Three providers, your key
Models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, chosen per agent. The key belongs to the organisation, is stored with strong encryption, and usage is billed to your account.
Knowledge with a source
Semantic search over authorised documents: the answer leans on an identified passage, not on the model’s loose memory.
Defence against hidden instructions
Document content is isolated from what counts as a command and suspicious passages are flagged. That reduces the risk of manipulation — it does not eliminate it.
Human queue with context
When information is missing, the topic is sensitive or it passes the limit, the conversation goes to a person with the reason and the history — and their reply returns to the conversation.
API and widget
Version 1 API with scoped keys, idempotent calls and per-key limits. Website widget with a public key and allowed origins.
WhatsApp through the official API
Connection through Meta’s official API, with the company’s own credentials stored encrypted. It is not an unofficial connection.
A record per reply
Model used, cost and the conversation are stored, with an append-only audit log and a defined retention period.

From setup to answer, in eight steps
The highlighted step is where the agent recognises its own limit and hands the conversation to a person.
Life cycle of a conversation
Illustrative dataPurpose defined
What the agent handles, what it does not, and in which tone it answers.
Model connected
Provider and model chosen per agent, using the company’s own key.
Knowledge loaded
Authorised documents are processed and made available for lookup.
Question received
Through the website widget, through WhatsApp or via an API call from your system.
Knowledge lookup
The search returns the closest passages, with the source identified.
Answer checked
The text is verified before it leaves, with source content isolated from instruction.
Limit reached
If information is missing, the topic is sensitive or it exceeds what the agent may handle, the conversation goes to a person.
Recording
Model, cost and conversation are stored, with an append-only audit log.
Eight-step flow: purpose defined, model connected, knowledge loaded, question received, knowledge lookup, answer checked, limit reached with human routing, and recording.
The agent does not close contracts, move money or act outside what was authorised. And this page does not promise error-free answers: connected knowledge reduces improvisation, but control is still necessary.

Ways to use it
Three ways to put the agent to work
Availability of each one depends on the contracted plan — and the rollout is led by our team.
Widget on your website
The visitor talks right on the page. The secret key never reaches the browser: the page loads a public key and the server resolves the rest, accepting only the allowed origins.
API for your system
A call authenticated by a scoped key, header-based idempotency so no message is duplicated, and a call limit per key.
Under your brand
Product and company name, logo, colours, support contacts, legal links, language and widget copy are configurable.
The rollout is led by the Centriu team: the environment is provisioned for your operation, not signed up self-service. Daily message and monthly cost caps are set in the plan.
Where each one fits
Synapse, Axiom and Link are different layers
The boundary between them is still being settled, so here they appear as complementary — none replaces another.
“They are different layers of the same conversation.”
Synapse — the answering layer
Orchestrates model, knowledge and rules, exposes API and widget, and keeps the trail of every reply.
Axiom — AI for people inside the company
A business intelligence interface aimed at employees. A different audience from the agent that talks to the end client.
Link — channel-based service
Relationship and service through the operation’s channels, with people on the front line.
We prefer saying they complement each other to inventing a boundary that is not settled yet. The link confirmed in code today is with Axis.
In the ecosystem
The link that already exists
One integration confirmed in code, with the file verified.
Only integrations verified in code appear here. Conceptual complementarity is not presented as an integration.
Security and governance
What is guaranteed — and what we do not promise
An AI layer speaking for the company needs stated limits, not grand promises.
Isolation and protected keys
Data is separated by organisation and model keys are stored with strong encryption. The environment is dedicated to your operation.
Append-only audit
Records cannot be altered or deleted by the application, with a long retention period set in the contract.
Usage caps
A daily message cap and a monthly cost cap, plus a per-key limit and a temporary model cut-off when the provider fails repeatedly.
Data subject requests
A public channel for access, correction, anonymisation, portability and deletion, with a defined response deadline and internal reminders.
What this page does not promise: protection that removes the need for care, zero risk, total absence of model error, or regulatory adherence valid for every scenario without review. What exists is stated control, configured limits and a trail to audit.
Who it is for
Operations that need AI with accountability
If a wrong answer becomes a legal, commercial or reputational problem, control matters more than speed.
Teams answering the same question all day
Deadlines, policies, prices and availability answered from the current document — not from the memory of whoever is on shift.
Operations with written policy to follow
The answer leans on the authorised document and shows the source, instead of reinterpreting the rule in every conversation.
Products that want AI inside their own system
An API with scoped keys and idempotent calls, instead of building orchestration, memory and auditing from scratch.
Teams that must account for what the AI said
Conversations recorded with the model used, the cost and the sources consulted, in a trail the application does not alter.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
What is Centriu Synapse?
It is the layer that makes an AI agent answer for the company with authorised knowledge, stated limits and a trail. It orchestrates the model, queries the knowledge base, applies the agent’s rules, routes to a person where appropriate, and records every reply.
Is Synapse a chatbot?
Not in the sense of a tree of canned questions. What exists is the layer behind the service: agent selection, context assembly, knowledge lookup, answer verification, human routing and recording. The chat is only the surface of that.
What is the difference between Synapse and Axiom?
Synapse is the layer that sustains the answer: model, knowledge, rules, API and trail. Axiom is the business intelligence interface aimed at people working in the company. The boundary between the two is still being settled, so we prefer to present them as complementary.
Which AI models can be connected?
Models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, chosen per agent. The key belongs to the organisation and is stored with strong encryption — model usage is billed to your provider account and is not included in the subscription. We do not promise to pick the "best model" on our own: routing follows the configured rules.
What is the knowledge base lookup?
It is the technique of searching your authorised documents for the passages closest to the question and handing them to the model along with the instruction. That way the answer leans on your material, not only on what the model learned by itself. It reduces improvisation — it does not eliminate it.
Does the agent show the sources it used?
The search returns the passage with the source identified, and what was consulted is recorded in the conversation along with the model used and the cost. How the source is shown to the end client is defined in the agent and channel configuration.
Can company documents be connected?
Yes. Documents, policies, manuals, product information and FAQs can be loaded into the knowledge base and updated without a new release of code. Loaded content is treated as data, not as instruction — and passages with patterns suggesting manipulation are flagged.
How does routing to a person work?
When information is missing, the topic is sensitive or it exceeds what the agent may handle, the conversation enters a human queue with the question, the urgency and the history. The person’s reply is applied back inside the same conversation, so the client does not have to start over.
Does Synapse have an API?
Yes, a REST API at version 1, authenticated by a scoped key (messages, conversations and knowledge base, each with read and write separated). It accepts test and live keys, has header-based idempotency so messages are not duplicated, and a call limit per key.
Can an agent be embedded on the site and carry my brand?
Yes. The widget is embedded with a public key — the secret key never reaches the browser — and only works on the allowed origins. Product and company name, logo, colours, support contacts, legal links, language and widget copy are configurable. Availability per plan comes from the commercial table.
Can the AI execute actions in other systems?
Only previously approved tools and within the configured scope, with protections against querying sensitive data and against internal addresses. The agent does not close contracts, move money, change systems on its own or act outside what was authorised.
How are credentials protected and how is each organisation’s data separated?
Model keys and channel credentials are encrypted at rest, and communication with external systems is signed. Data is separated by organisation and the environment is dedicated to the contracted operation, with an append-only audit log and a defined retention period.
